iOS kernel-level attacks suddenly surge: crypto app FomoPeek embeds a framework to steal private keys, causing large-scale user fund theft
#Security News iOS kernel-level attacks have suddenly increased and are targeting ordinary users. The crypto app FomoPeek attracted large numbers of users to download and install it through KOL promotion, but embedded an iOS kernel-level attack framework. The framework was most likely also developed based on the DarkSword framework, which was used in the previously reported fake VPS giveaway campaign on NodeSeek. It can escape the sandbox and read sensitive data on iPhones. FomoPeek used the attack framework to steal large numbers of users' cryptocurrency wallet private keys.
