#MassDoxxing U.S. identity verification provider IDScan has suffered a massive data leak, with hackers reportedly obtaining as many as 153 million scans of driver's licenses, passports, identity documents, and medical cards. Cybersecurity professionals have reportedly verified the data by checking information belonging to family members and friends, broadly confirming that it is genuine. The hackers claim they spent several years obtaining the data from the target system. At an estimated 500KB per document, the total data volume would exceed 70TB.
